PeterEmon

Experienced. Accountable. Ready for Renfrew's Future.

Renfrew is at a pivotal moment. With Highway 417 approaching, growing interest from developers and businesses, rising infrastructure demands, and affordability challenges facing residents, the decisions we make today will shape our community for decades.

I am running for Mayor because I believe our community needs experienced leadership, a clear vision, and a strong voice that shows up, speaks up and stands up for Renfrew.

The Case for Change

Why I'm Running

Renfrew is growing and changing. We need experienced leadership to prepare for what's ahead while protecting what makes our community special.

I have spent my career helping communities solve complex challenges, build partnerships, and improve services for the people who rely on them.

I believe the Mayor's role is a full-time responsibility. It requires leadership, accountability, communication, and the willingness to make difficult decisions while bringing people together around a shared vision.

My Priorities

Five Priorities for Renfrew.

01

Protect Affordability

Residents deserve value for every tax dollar. That means delivering the services people rely on while looking for practical ways to manage costs and reduce pressure on taxpayers.

02

Restore Trust Through Open Government

Residents should understand what decisions are being made and why. That means clear communication, meaningful opportunities for participation and accountability for results.

03

Plan Ahead for Infrastructure

Growth is coming. We need to make sure our roads, infrastructure and transportation network are ready before problems become larger and more expensive to address.

04

Prepare Renfrew for Growth

Growth is coming. We need to plan for it before it plans for us. That means making sure housing, infrastructure and services keep pace so residents continue to enjoy the quality of life that makes Renfrew special.

05

Strengthen Community Services

A healthy community supports people at every stage of life. That means ensuring residents can access the programs, services and supports they need close to home.
